Job Summary:
Platinum Heating & Cooling is seeking a skilled and driven Lead Installer to join our elite team. As a Lead Installer, you will be responsible for overseeing HVAC installations, ensuring top-quality workmanship, and leading a team to deliver exceptional service. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a commitment to upholding our elevated industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation Leadership
- Oversee and perform installations of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and other equipment.
- Lead and mentor installation assistants, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
- Review job specifications and ensure all installations meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installations, using resources and expertise to find effective solutions.
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and best practices.
Customer Interaction
- Communicate with customers to explain installation processes, answer questions, and address concerns professionally.
- Represent Platinum Heating & Cooling with courtesy and professionalism, delivering the best customer experience.
- Ensure job sites are left clean and organized, reflecting the Platinum standard of care.
Shop & Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with the shop team to ensure all necessary tools, equipment, and materials are prepared for each job.
- Report workplace discrepancies and collaborate with management to address and resolve issues effectively.
- Foster open communication and teamwork among crew members to maintain efficiency and morale.
Professional Development & Company Culture
- Actively pursue opportunities to expand technical knowledge and skills through training, certifications, and other resources.
- Serve as a role model for team members by demonstrating discipline, focus, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of HVAC installation experience, with a proven track record of high-quality workmanship.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications.
- Strong communication skills, both with customers and team members.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- EPA certification and other relevant HVAC certifications are a plus.
